Representatives of cooperatives in the regions where the project is located took part from August 28th to 31st to the AgroSemana 2018, in Northern Portugal. One of the objectives was to share the work done so far on innovation and competitiveness in cooperatives.

Through this forum, transversal activities, technical visits of wine cooperatives from the Douro region, the "Center of excellence of the vine and the wine" were realized. The participants also had the chance to enjoy a boat trip on the Douro River, commented by an oenologist who explained the particular characteristics of viticulture in this region of Portugal.

In addition, held the seventh transnational coordination meeting AGROSMARTcoop project with several objectives: the promotion of technological innovation to maximize the potential for growth and added value, support the intelligent marketing of products and promote the association of agri-food cooperatives and the creation of alliances and strategic projects. In addition, this meeting brought together, invited as participants, representatives of different cooperatives that can benefit from AGROSMARTcoop in the future.
