Calendar for Step 2 of the first call for proposals

Categoría Call

After closing Step 1 of the first call for proposals, the Interreg Sudoe Programme set the key dates of Step 2, which will be launched from 29 February to 29 April 2016. The goal is to allow the projects to start their activity on the 1st of July 2016.

Evaluation

After the closing of Step 1 of the first call on 6 November 2015, the Joint Secretariat received 496 project proposals. In the days that followed, the managing bodies of the Programme started the evaluation of the applications, a procedure that will last until the end of February 2016. At that stage, the Steering Committee will adopt a decision about the projects approved to pass to Step 2. This will be immediately notified to the applicants.

Launch of Step 2

The period of Step 2 has been set from 29 February to 29 April 2016. Step 2 consists of submitting a full application form, developing the simplified proposal submitted to Step 1.

The potential beneficiaries who succeeded Step 1 will be invited to participate in a technical meeting about Step 2 in Santander, two days (first day in the afternoon and second day in the morning) expected between 7 and 15 March 2016. The managing bodies will provide in this meeting all the information about the technical aspects for the submission of a Step 2 application form.

Up to that moment, potential beneficiaries who wish to start working on their proposal can use the template of the application form available in the Step 2 application kit (in SpanishFrench and Portuguese) and the Sudoe programme manual for project development and management.

Projects approved

After the closure of Step 2 on 29 April 2016, the managing bodies of the Programme will proceed with the evaluation of the proposals until the end of June 2016. Notification will take place immediately after the decision adopted by the Steering Committee on 30 June 2016, in order to enable the projects to start their activity on the 1st of July 2016.
