Export Food Sudoe concludes after two years full of activities

Two years already since Export Food Sudoe contributes to the SMEs competitiveness’ improvement of Sudoe’s area. In order to highlight those results and officially conclude its activities, the project organised its finale conference last 7/02, in Gijon (Spain).

Two years full of actions, meetings and new cooperations between SMEs from South-western Europe. Launched in september 2016, Export Food Sudoe aimed at facilitating cooperation between French, Spanish and Portuguese enterprises to create new development opportunities for internationalisation. 3 business meetings have been organised: the first one in Lisbon, in the framework of the International Food Show, the second in Sevilla and the last one in Bordeaus where the enterprises had the opportunity to make themselves known, discuss on common projects and prepare their strategy to export to new European markets. Furthermore, 4 trade missions were organised in London, Brussels, Ireland and Sweden. With the participation of more than 25 enterprises which could benefit from experts’ support.

The project’s partners developped actions in order to offer to the participating companies a complete panel of solutions to internationalize their project. Among those actions, we can mention the participation to the SIRHA show in Lyon in January, the visit of the BIOFACH show in Nuremberg, the organisation of a business mission to Kölhn (Germany) in February 2019, market’s implementation…

All those actions and collaborations have been introduced during the final conference which took place in Gijon, on 7th February and to which several companies from different European Member States participated.
