Categoría Management of projects approved

The 20th and 21st of June, the Project Enerpat organised a third symposium about energy rehabilitation in ancient structures. After the meeting in Vitoria-Gasteiz and Oporto, the last meeting took place in Cahors.

With more than 90 participants from France, Spain and Portugal, the audience was composed by building professionals (craftsmen, architects, archaeologists) political representatives, public and private bodies’ representatives, researchers, professors and citizens of Cahors.  During the meeting, several questions were debated about the eco-renovation of ancient structures in order to answer to the need of energy improvement along with the safeguard of heritage value. The health challenges of the renovations, the subsidiaries of environment-friendly material, the habitat and the city of the future, were some of the questions discussed.

On the other hand, the state of progress of the rehabilitation works in the pilot buildings of Cahors, Vitoria-Gasteiz and O Porto, allowed to show the discussed questions in an operative form.
