SUDOANG: the project is moving forward

After a year and a half of the beginning of the project, Sudoang has completed several steps reaching different objectives. The project, which wants to recover the eel population at a level that allows the continuity of the species, already has 10 pilot projects. At the base of the project there is a collection of important data that has been developed in several rivers and lagoons of the Sudoe area, using the same model and the same methodology. The project is also mentioned several times as an example in a report of the European Commission on the application of eel regulations. This achievement and the cooperation work done so far among the various actors involved are welcomed.
