The European Week of Regions and Cities will take place from 11 to 14 October
The 19th edition of the European Week of Regions and Cities, the biggest cohesion policy event held in Brussels, is already warming up. From 11 to 14 October, this platform will re-open, hosting more than 300 virtual sessions where leaders, academics, social partners and citizens will together address the digital transition, the ecological transition, social cohesion and citizen engagement for a participatory and fair post-covid re-establishment. The different sessions will also allow for the exchange of learning and good practices.
Under the title "Together for Recovery", this year's programme will focus on the new cohesion policy and the generation of EU programmes for 2021-2027, as well as EU financial instruments to tackle the COVID-19 crisis.
During these four days, there will also be open spaces where you will be able to interact with other participants and network. Last year more than 10,000 people participated in this session, which for the second time in a row will be completely virtual.
