Last weeks, we could follow our colleagues from Turbo Sudoe through twitter ((@dgcamara, @turbosudoe), moving around Europe, and understand the work of the Transference Brokers.

During this journey, the team of Mecanic Vallée, composed by Hervé Danton and Camille Esquerré, welcomed in Toulouse (FR) Daniel Casares and Daniel Gomez, from the University of Malaga, and Paulo Cardoso, from the University of Aveiro – all members of the Transference Brokers team. The first day focused on a meeting with the Transference Brokers coach, Louis Gambino (Quadrium – consultor). From then, the team had a set of meeting with several organisms: Aerospace Valley (Pôle de compétitivité/Cluster Innovation), Toulouse Tech Transfer (Excellence Centre of Technology) and LAAS (Assessement Lab and Systems Architecture).

28/02: First meetings with companies from CAAR Cluster

The Transference Brokers team, composed by Oliver Freire from Energylab and Edgar Valverde from the University of Burgos, were welcomed in Zaragoza by the Aragón Car Cluster (CAAR). This first meeting was complemented by meetings with businesses from different sectors, such as ENERJOIN (specialised in buying energy and efficiency actions) or FERSA BEARINGS (multinational specialised in bearing for heavy vehicles and machinery). The team will extend the actions making out the most of the region strategic situation and the multidisciplinar interest of energy and ITC fields. Meetings  in Technological centres and companies from different sectors such as car providers, logistics, comercial centres, ITC or food sector will be held in the future.

15/03: Already two weeks in Toulouse!

After its meeting with Mecanic Vallée, the Transference Brokers team, composed by Daniel Casares, Daniel Gómez and Paulo Cardoso, went to Decazeville to meet with companies from the territory in the fields of energy/ITCs such as AD FINE, MET ENERGIE, RATIER FIGEAC, STS GROUPE and 2PS, cars such as ROBERT BOSCH RODEZ, recycling such as SNAM, etc. The objective was to understand the needs of the company, to introduce the technological offer to university, to check cooperation oportunities and to create links between the different structures (R&D centres, enterprises, etc.). Those meetings enabled the debate and creation of common prohects such as in the case of Bosch enterprise (part of the Bosch German Group, active in car production teams) and EDF – Agency“ a river, a territory“ (EDF group gathers professionals of electricity‘s production and commerce in France).
