The 21 approved projects in 2018 met in Santander

Last 9 and 10 April, the 21 approved projects in the framework of the Second Call of Proposals of the Programme were invited to the seminar on projects management and signing of the ERDF agreement in Santander.

Around 140 people visited Santander, where, at the Santemar Hotel, the National Authorities and the Joint Secretariat of the Programme organised a seminar to guide the newly approved projects. On the first day, the participants attendes presentations on the administrative and budget management of the projects. Then, several parallel workshops moderated by the National Authorities of the Programme took place in order to give some advices and information concerning expenses declarations and national legislation.

The second day started with the ERDF agreement signing with the councillor for Economy, Budget and Employment of the Government of Cantabria, J.J. Sota. Later, the participants had the opportunity to listen to to the Certification Authority who explained pragmatic issues on the ERDF recovery. The event continued with two additional presentations on partnerships, communication and promotion. Lastly, the event concluded with informal bilateral meetings between the projects and the Programme’s bodies. 

Open in March 2017, the second call for proposals concluded in October with the approval of 21 projects in the fields of research and innovation and environment and ressources efficiency. Thus, the projects will benefit from an ERDF co-funding of € 25 millions.
